‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: When worlds (truly) collide (video)

It has been a long wait, but in just one week’s time, “Once Upon a Time” season 2 will finally be upon us. With that in mind, we have something new and rather exciting worth celebrating when it comes to the hit ABC show: the latest promo for “The Cricket Game.” (Apologies for the poor quality; we’ll post a better video if we can find one moving forward.)

There are a few new scenes highlighted in this new promo, though the actual events shown off here actually telling much of the same story that we have heard about already: namely that the curse is now completely broken, and these fairytale characters for the first time now have completely access to the rest of the world.

So what is this going to mean, exactly? While this is not shown off in the promo, there are a pair of characters coming from outside Storybrooke into town that we have heard about already either via casting scoop or the show’s own executive producers: Neal Cassady (who is otherwise known as Henry’s father and Emma’s ex, who “betrayed” her at the request of August), and a mysterious man played by Ethan Embry.

Hopefully, this new change to Storybrooke is going to give us an opportunity to concentrate even more activity in the town than we saw during the first half of the season. Our biggest criticism at first was merely that the show had too many thing going on in different places, and the payoff of seeing Snow White and Prince Charming together was all for naught.
