ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2: Take a deeper look with Kerry Washington
As “Scandal” season 2 reached the end of the first half of season 2, there was a noticeable trend upward in a number of ways. Not only did the quality and the intensity of Shonda Rhimes’ latest product reach a new high, but the ratings did, as well. While we spent much of the first few weeks of the fall wondering whether or not we would end up seeing a “Scandal” season 3, it is all but guaranteed now if the figures manage to stay at a similar level.
If you are brand-new to the show and you want to get involved without watching a dozen or so episodes, though, than we have a new opportunity to do that courtesy of the show’s newest featurette. You can check out the video below, and it features none other than star Kerry Washington opening up about Olivia Pope’s world, which includes her job in the field of crisis management, and the interesting relationship that she has with none other than the President of the United States.
This very president will of course be an enormous part of the second half of the season (even when he is not onscreen), though we have a feeling that much of the show’s energy will (at least at first) be placed primarily on taking the next move with the storyline involving Huck, who was framed by a woman he loves for a crime that he did not even commit.
Are you just now starting to get hooked on the show? In addition to the promo below, ABC.com also has full episodes of “Scandal” available for viewing over the holidays. If you want to watch the first official promo for the show’s first episode back on TV, you can do so over at the link here.
