‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Naya Rivera, Chord Overstreet snap a moment together

Even though we have a feeling that Santana may not be altogether pleased on “Glee” season 4 when she realizes that Sam and Brittany are getting romantically involved not long after she and her girlfriend (and fellow Cheerio) parted ways, the good news is that obviously Chord Overstreet and Naya Rivera are still getting along swimmingly in real life.

This new photo to the left was taken by Rivera during her last day on the “Glee” set before the holidays, and it features her and Chord sporting some rather big smiles on their faces, almost as a reminder that there is no need for relationship battles among fans of any given couple on the show. There has been some criticism of Brittany and Sam getting together by Brittana fans watching the show this season, and it almost seemed as though Ryan Murphy was even expecting it based on a rather interesting monologue that Heather Morris’ character gave out earlier this year on the subject of how many people online were inspired by her relationship with Santana, and she was so afraid of disappointing them.

At the moment, all we know about the scene that Naya and Chord are working on is that it will contain some sort of duet between the two of them, which will hopefully be some sort of emotionally-charged number about two people who have struggled at times to fight their feelings for the same person. Then again, we are making a big assumption here that Santana wants Brittany back right away, as it is also equally possible that she recognizes that she is happy with Sam right now, and she is not even in Ohio on a regular basis to be with her.
