‘Glee’ season 4, episode 10 preview: Darren Criss, Chris Colfer, and an ice rink
Good news for “Glee” fans: we have the latest sneak peek now from Thursday night’s “Glee, Actually” episode, and it is the much-awaited performance of “White Christmas” featuring Darren Criss’ Blaine and Chris Colfer’s Kurt. Anyone who has been cheering for Klaine to get back together will at least have something to smile about here courtesy of this annual tradition … even if it is not leading to our beloved characters getting together again just yet.
The performance features the two parties skating around an ice rink that we have been hearing about for months now, and there is some irony in the fact that they are dreaming of a White Christmas even though there is one pretty much surrounding them in all directions.
We like best how this performance, even in spite of everything going on with the couple at the moment, still finds a way to feel fun and playful. It’s a welcome sign that there is hope for these two to have a friendship, and at least get past their problems well enough to be in the same room (or at least the same ice rink) together. Granted, it is still a long ways off from the Christmas the two parties shared as a couple last season, which included the “box scene” pictured above that was actually cut out of the episode at the last minute. (It was sadly better than anything that actually ended up airing.)
What do you think about this performance, and do you take this as a major sign of hope for Kurt and Blaine moving forward? We want to hear some of your thoughts below! If you want to listen to some more music from this episode, you can do so over at the link here.
