‘Supernatural’ season 8, episode 10 preview: Misha Collins, Amanda Tapping return
“Supernatural” season 8’s run in 2012 ended on quite a high with the crazy, shocking, and thoroughly entertaining episode earlier this week; and now, the producers are keen to make us wait for a little while to see what happens next.
The good news? While we are going to be waiting until January 16 for the return of San and Dean, they will not be alone. Not only will Misha Collins return as Castiel for the next episode (the tenth of the season), but so will Amanda Tapping’s Naomi! We will return once again to the setting of this photo, and Cas is going to feel more confused than ever. As a matter of fact, the promo below makes it look almost as though his brain is fried. (Can’t this guy catch a break at some point? He seems to have more bad things happen to him than anyone else.)
As for some of the other stories we are probably going to be seeing moving forward, expect the show to at least address some of the new Winchester issues that surfaced courtesy of Dean more or less using Sam’s affection for Amelia in order to manipulate them. The brothers have not exactly had the best relationship for much of the year, and the two have to an extent used their affection for some other people (whether it be Amelia, Martin, or to an extent, Dean’s past friendship with Benny in purgatory) in order to cloud their present-day judgment.
Do you anticipate great things from this Castiel – Naomi story, and what do you think about the promo below? Just in case you want to read some more exciting scoop about Felicia Day’s return to “Supernatural” season 8, you can do so over at the link here.
