‘Homeland’ season 2 spoilers: The craziest title ever?
Who knew that Showtime loved using a certain swear word in some of their scripted series? First, we heard the news that the season 7 finale of “Dexter” was going to be called “Surprise, Motherf–ker,” a reference to some now-famous comments made by Sargent Doakes at the very end of season 1. Now, we have a title from the world of “Homeland” season 2 that travels along the very same lines.
The official title for this episode is none other than “The Motherf–ker with a Turban,” which to us really suggests one thing: there are going to be some people out there who are still rather angry about the fact that Abu Nazir is not only still out there, but that just about everyone is having a difficult time figuring out how to stop him. Granted, there’s also little questioning that the title is probably intentionally created to sound racist, mostly since neither Nazir nor anyone else in his network actually wear a turban.
There are going to be some enormous events that also happen during this hour. How big? It is probably better off not to say, but we will make an analogy to another popular premium cable show in “Game of Thrones.” Why? On that show? It is traditionally the penultimate episode on the show that holds the major shocker rather than the actual finale. This episode of “Homeland” will be airing two weeks from Sunday, though who knows? Considering that we have yet to hear very much about this episode so far, it is possible that there is an even greater shocker coming up in the future.
