NBC’s ‘Revolution’ fall finale preview: Will Miles and Monroe reunite?
Thus far, the biggest criticism about the plot for “Revolution’s” first season is that so much of it feels like we are just watching characters walk around from one place to the next. Finally, Monday night’s fall finale is going to feature Charlie, Miles, and the rest of her crew in Philadelphia, and with that there is going to be a number of showdowns looming … especially when it comes to Billy Burke’s character squaring off against his former partner-in-crime in Monroe.
So how much will the new setting open the door for these characters? Speaking in a new interview with TVLine in order to promote the pivotal episode, co-executive producer David Rambo (who clearly has one of the most awesome names every for an action-oriented show) explained that the showdown between Miles and Monroe will indeed be a highlight:
“Next week will be the first time that all the Mathesons are in the same city since the premiere. So there are lots of opportunities to see what could happen there. A big challenge for Miles is — [as] part of him revealed in the hallucination he had last [Monday] — if Monroe asked him to come back, he would like that. We are going to see Miles and Monroe come face-to-face, and Monroe is going to ask him to come back to the militia.”
Sadly, Rambo would not say as to whether or not we are going to see a reunion between Charlie and her mother Rachel, who proved her worth last week by killing the only person who could replace her and use the power to the Republic’s advantage.
