‘Arrow’ spoilers: Ready for the Huntress? (video)

We haven’t had a new dose of Oliver Queen this week thanks largely to the Thanksgiving holiday; but luckily, “Arrow” is going to be back on Wednesday with all sorts of action worth celebrating all over again. Plus, to make matters even more exciting, a mob war is going to break out that features the Huntress making her grand introduction to this world.

There are a number of fascinating elements to this story, but one of the most notable right out of the gate is that this is the first time Oliver has faced some sort of romantic temptation away from Laurel ever since first arriving back from the island. He’s not technically dating his ex again, and she still seemingly has no intention of getting back with him after what happened with her sister. Nonetheless, we assume that she wants to see he really is a changed man, and developing some sort of new relationship, even if Laurel doesn’t find out about it right away, is not the best way to go about that. (Then again, who knows if he would ever tell her?)

What is going to be most interesting here is if there are some feelings that develop, how Oliver is going to reconcile his emotions with doing the right thing. This rival family is one of the biggest threats he has faced all season long, especially since most of his enemies thus far have been taken down within the span of a single episode, and without really too much effort save for one or two fight scenes.
