‘Homeland’ season 2 spoilers: Who’s having trust issues now?
Remember when we wrote about that kiss that happened during the promo for Sunday’s new episode of “Homeland” season 2? Well, it is starting to look like it may not necessarily be just some sort of cover for Carrie and Brody to hide their plans for Abu Nazir or some sort of crazy dream sequence; it may very well be real, but it will still come with its own set of baggage.
According to a report from E! News, the kiss (which is going to be more than just a quick peck) is going to lead to all sorts of old wounds from the past coming up pertaining to trust; however, on this occasion it may be Brody just as much as it is Carrie. There will likely be some worries here as to whether or not she is just using her feminine wiles in order to convince him to follow orders, which he actually has done pretty well so far. Of course, we also expect there to be worries from Carrie’s end about if he is still working with Abu Nazir, and also just what Brody plans on doing when it comes to the sham that is more or less his marriage at this point.
Sunday’s new episode is going to show us for the first time what the new plans are for the terrorist attack on America, but it’s not clear at the moment whether or not the CIA has enough information to stop it. We’re sure that somewhere along the way Dana is also going to fight more of her inner demons over Finn’s hit-and-run, and at some point Mike will probably turn up again despite his orders to stop sniffing around a case that the CIA has already taken into its own hands. (Let’s just hope there’s not too much of it, since this case is the most tedious plot on the show right now.)
