‘Hart of Dixie’ season 2 spoilers: Ready for some football?
“Hart of Dixie” season 2 will be taking a break on The CW this week thanks in part to the Presidential election, but the election featuring Lavon and Ruby will be officially under way on November 12.
We’re not going to focus too much on this specific episode here, largely because we have already covered plenty of ground here courtesy of the promo video here. Instead, we are gearing our attention ahead to the seventh episode of the season, which is entitled “Baby, Don’t Get Hooked on Me.”
Once you realize just what the focus of this episode really is about, then this title starts to make more sense than ever. As the photo to the left shows you, Zoe’s services are going to be called upon in order to assist the local football team with an important problem that is causing them all sorts of health problems: foot fungus.
However, there is an unexpected side effect to her treatment when one of the guys at the school decides to develop feelings for the doc. With that, Zoe has a challenge: it’s not exactly the same thing letting down a high school student with little confidence compared to a George or a Wade, so she has to trade carefully. In addition to that, she also has to make sure she does nothing that could be problematic for her down the road given that we are dealing with minors here, even if they are the ones initiating the potential romance.
As we told you previously, this episode is going to feature the first-ever appearance from Olympian McKayla Mulroney, though her precise role on the show has yet to be determined. She is the third athlete from the London Games to be appearing on a CW show, as this list also includes her teammate Gabby Douglas (on “The Vampire Diaries”) and swimmer Ryan Lochte on “90210.”
How excited are you for this episode?
