Arrow season 8 episode 8 return date for Stephen Amell, cast
Want to know the Arrow season 8 episode 8 return date on The CW, or some more intel as to what’s coming? Luckily, we’ve got the goods on all of that within this article!
For the time being, though, let’s go ahead and get the bad news out of the way: There is no new episode of the series next week. Yet, there’s some good news in that you’ll see Oliver Queen (and likely a few other characters) sprinkled in throughout the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths, which is airing starting on Sunday night. There are episodes of that coming on Sunday, Monday, and then Tuesday before a long hiatus breaks out right in the middle of it.
Arrow season 8 episode 8 is technically the continuation of the crossover, and that is going to be arriving on Tuesday, January 14. That will pick up wherever part 3 (technically an episode of The Flash) leaves off next week.
So what’s the schedule beyond that? Well, episode 9 is going to be airing on January 21, and then come January 28, brace yourselves for a two-hour finale event. This will begin with some sort of special, followed by the proper series finale. We know that Emily Bett Rickards will be returning for a fond farewell, but beyond just that, there are questions all about who else will be there or what Oliver Queen’s endgame will be.
This finale will be the final chapter for Arrow, but rest assured that there is still a whole lot more in the way of story to be written with this show and, presumably, this character. There’s always a chance that Stephen Amell could turn up down the road as Oliver Queen, and even if we don’t see him, we’re not going to forget that he is really the pioneer of this whole thing. His commitment to the character and this story is one of the main reasons we have an Arrowverse. We certainly didn’t think back when the first season aired that we would be getting to this point!
