‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: Ginnifer Goodwin on Snow White, Charming
So far on “Once Upon a Time” season 2, it’s pretty fair to say that the Charming Family Reunion has not really turned out in the way in which anyone previously expected. The family of Emma, Mary Margaret, David, and Henry were really all together for about four or five minutes of TV time, only for a portal during the season premiere to suck Ginnifer Goodwin and Jennifer Morrison’s characters away to what little remains of the fairy tale world.
So are these characters really going to have a chance to be back together again soon? For the time being, that really remains a mystery; however, Goodwin told TV Guide that they would nonetheless find a way to communicate between the two worlds, but you really have to remember here that just about every action on this show comes with a price:
“They find a direct line of communication that requires a great risk … There’s something very tragic about the fact that the risk that’s taken is potentially a great sacrifice that is made in order to get Emma and Snow White home. There’s something really beautiful about the selflessness that is necessary to communicate.”
Eventually, you know that these characters will come back together … but when they do, will it even be remotely the same? In addition to there being questions about this “sacrifice,” you also have to wonder whether or not Snow and Emma are going to be able to come back without the villain known as Captain Hook, who is also looking to come to Storybrooke to get revenge on Rumpelstiltskin over what he did to destroy much of his life.
How do you think we are going to see these two characters escape?
