Is MasterChef new tonight? The future of season 10
Let’s go ahead, though, and get some of the bad news out of the way. There is no new episode on the show tonight, with NFL preseason football being the big reason why. We’re at that time of the year where football has a tendency to cause chaos — and we get it. There are a ton of people who would rather watch exhibition football than almost anything else … nuts as that may be to non-football fans.
When MasterChef returns to Fox next Wednesday, it’s going to be a chance to see the remaining home cooks reunited with some of their family, where they are going to have a chance in order to cook some food that will be inspired by home. For some of these home cooks, it’s a chance to get that extra dose of inspiration. Maybe that pushes some of the contestants to cook even stronger food through the remainder of the competition. That’s at least some of what we’re hoping to see.
We are gearing up for the end of the season and, with that in mind, we’re inching closer to seeing who will get the title. This could be an exciting finish for the season! We’ll admit that we have a soft spot for Subha given that he’s such an underdog, but there are so many different people who have performed well in the competition. Bri’s elimination was one of the last ones that felt like it would probably happen, and we say that knowing full well that she’s a talented home cook. Moving forward, there will be unpredictability … but also a reduced schedule that we’re going to have to be prepared for thanks to the NFL.
