‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 5 spoilers: A look from the One-Niners’ perspective
We have already seen all sorts of interviews featuring the likes of Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman, and other actors who help to constitute the gang known as SAMCRO on “Sons of Anarchy.” Now, it only seems appropriate to add another perspective to the mix.
Speaking in a new interview with Monsters and Critics, we had an opportunity to hear some words courtesy of one of the members of the infamous group the One-Niners: Mo McRae, who plays one of the heads of the Oakland gang. So what does he have to say about his own future with the show’s villain in Damon Pope? Here is what he had to say on just how much control Harold Perrineau’s character really has on the world established within the show:
“Damon Pope’s interaction’s with my character can be likened to a manager and employee type of relationship. Pope’s character is the holder of all the power cards so far this season. But not just over my character. He has a pretty good grip on SAMCRO as well.”
McRae would not say whether or not his character is going to survive what is coming up for him, but on a show like this, you really have to assume that just about everyone is in trouble. After all, we’re not sure that there is anything else on TV at the moment that has such a thick layer of violence underneath just about everything that unfolds.
Do you like having the sort of dichotomy between the One-Niners and what we traditionally see out of SAMCRO? Be sure to share some of your thoughts with a comment below!
