The Hills: New Beginnings episode 8 preview: Is Ryan Cabrera returning?
There are many of you who may remember his music from the early 2000’s — “On the Way Down” was a big hit and there was a little while where it felt like he was going to be one of the industry’s next big pop/rock stars. That never fully materialized, but he does have a history with The Hills in its original form. He and Audrina Patridge have a romantic history, and there could be another chapter added to their story based on the promo and the synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:
Kaitlynn & Brody’s “A -List “ gala fractures the group when she excludes part of the crew. Audrina surprises everyone by re-igniting a spicy romance with an old flame. Spencer shocks Heidi with a lavish surprise.
Audrina is going to get a lot of people talking within this episode — and given that the conversation is not about her and Justin Bobby, it’s a conversation that is relatively easy to embrace.
As for what else is coming up, it’s going to be strange to see Kaitlynn and Brody together given the recent headlines about their split — remember over the weekend that there were headlines regarding her kissing Miley Cyrus, who is also splitting from Liam Hemsworth. (Don’t you think all of this has to be a conversation for a possible season 2?) Meanwhile, Heidi is going to suggest to Spencer the idea of expanding their family, something that Spencer does not seem to be completely ready for at the moment. They’re still getting used to being parents in the first place!
There’s a lot that is going on within this episode — some of it’s going to be romantic, some is going to surprise, and all of it will harken back to ten-plus years ago. Bringing Cabrera onto The Hills is like pouring a whole jar full of cherries on the nostalgia sundae.
