Euphoria season 2 premiere date hopes for Zendaya, cast

Let’s go ahead and get now to handing down the news that a lot of people out there want to know — if they didn’t know already. There WILL be another batch of episodes for the Zendaya series at some point in the future, and it’s really just a question of when it’s going to be back. We don’t think that the folks over at HBO are going to be in all that much of a rush to bring it back to the air — it’s about quality first and foremost, and then trying to find a way to fit it into the schedule second.

There are three things that make the wait for a Euphoria season 2 complicated.

1. The writing process – Sam Levinson wrote all of the season 1 episodes for Euphoria. If he continues to do this, it can be a little more time-consuming than operating with a traditional writers’ room. Granted, these seasons are fairly short and that may make the wait a little bit less than it would be otherwise.

2. The actors’ schedules – In particular, Zendaya is very much busy in between her various movie roles and ventures. Her availability is one of the hardest to pin down here, though depending on her contract, Euphoria may be prioritized over a number of other potential gigs.

3. The ages of the cast – There is more of a time crunch with Euphoria than some other HBO shows, just because of the fact that these are adult actors playing high school students and there’s only so long that can happen and it will be believable. They can’t wait too long before filming new episodes.

When you consider all of the factors, HBO will sill prioritize quality … but we think they’d like to have more episodes on the air by late 2020/early 2021 if possible. This is a show that probably has a short shelf life (think three or four seasons), and it benefits it to get the ball rolling as soon as possible.
