Emmys 2019: Where to live stream nomination announcement
The Emmys live stream is going to begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. Pacific time (11:30 a.m. Eastern), where D’Arcy Carden (The Good Place) and Ken Jeong (The Masked Singer) will read out the various categories and names for the year. We like to think that Carden being hired is a good sign for her own candidacy — who doesn’t love some of what she brings to the table as Janet?
Typically, the morning announcement is a way to get some of the preliminary nominees for the big awards show (airing later this year) — though it doesn’t always give you the full picture. Soon after the Emmy nomination announcement wraps up, you will have a chance to check out the full list of nominations online. That will make it a little bit clearer what all of the snubs/surprises are. (Let’s go ahead and make it clear — the Emmys are always better looking at some categories than others. We’ll always be upset about how they handle some of the reality TV nominations.)
Be prepared, ultimately, for a busy morning of coverage! What we’re going to do today is give you the full list of nominations, but soon after that reactions in a number of different ways. All of it will be culminating in a reaction video where we go through some of the choices that were made this year and whether or not we agree with them.
What, and who, do you want to see nominated for the Emmys 2019? Be sure to share now in the comments, and remember to come back soon for some other information.
