Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 7 video: Al’s revelation

Moving into Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 7 when it airs on AMC, one thing is clear: Much of the group remains screwed. They are desperate in order to find a way in order to get the plane running so that they can actually be all back where they want to be — where they need to be. Remember that whole premise of them doing what they can in order to help other people? That seems to be pretty far buried at this point.

Anyhow, the short sneak peek below from Sunday’s episode offers up some perspective as to where Al’s head is at — and beyond that, some of what she is trying to do moving forward. She thinks that she has come up with a solution to the plane’s fuel problem — remember that only a certain kind of fuel will do. Luckily, we’ve seen already that she knows where a certain sort of fuel is located that nobody else does. She may have to explain how she knows about it after the fact — it’s either that and she goes off, retrieves it on her own, and hopes that they don’t ask too many questions.

In general, we wonder how much the story of Isabelle will stay buried on Fear the Walking Dead. When you are out there alone in the zombie apocalypse, it’s hard to keep any secrets. We imagine that it’s even harder to be in a position where you feel like there’s no light on the horizon when it comes to having a sounding board. That’s where she could be if nothing ever changes — and we’re not sure that it will.

Let’s just hope that by the end of the next two episodes, we do reach some sort of an end when it comes to the airplane storyline. Wouldn’t it be nice to start to move in some other directions?
