‘Person of Interest’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Lost,’ ‘Supernatural’ alum Mark Pellegrino in
With this weekend being New York Comic-Con, we are getting an opportunity to learn a few more assorted details here and there about some of our favorite shows. The latest one? That we are going to see a certain star of “Lost” stop on board “Person of Interest” for an episode as a character that could not be more different than the original king of the island in Jacob.
While at the event, the show’s executive producer in Jonathan Nolan confirmed that Mark Pellegrino, who is otherwise known for his role as Lucifer on “Supernatural” and his recent one-episode stint on “Revolution,” is going to be on board the hit CBS show. As for his character, he is going to be the head of a super-powerful publishing company that of course has plenty of charisma to go along with it.
Is this man someone who has come up in the Machine? It’s possible, though at the same time he could be someone responsible for causing a tragedy involving someone else. We know that everyone loves to play a villain, and Pellegrino certainly is good at these sort of roles thanks to a look that makes him appear like he is someone that you naturally want to trust.
“Person of Interest” has continued to draw some pretty strong numbers for CBS on Thursday nights, and this is even thanks in part to the higher competition that is coming from not only “Grey’s Anatomy,” but a hit with many young people in “Glee.” Hopefully, this is the sort of casting that will continue to make people excited.
What do you think about this casting?
