‘Jersey Shore’ season 6: Roger Mathews defends actions during JWoww fight
On Thursday night’s new episode of “Jersey Shore,” we clearly saw more drama than we did for just about the entire first two episodes combined courtesy of one scene: an argument at Bamboo that turned into a full-on brawl when some men started to make some nasty comments that led to some of the show’s stars getting involved. We actually first heard about this fight months ago, and it really did not end up being a tense as so many of us expected. As a matter of fact, the only real shocking moment occurred when Jenni “JWoww” Farley’s boyfriend Roger Mathews appeared to push her body onto the ground during what was the middle of the brawl.
You could claim that there were some explanations for what he did here, including that he was trying to protect her by getting her out of the way. Or, the other thought here is that he simply lost his cool and took out some of his temper on her. Regardless, Roger (who is by and large a pretty quiet guy) was forced to take to his Twitter account Friday in order to address the situation in full:
“Love my life. Love my girl. We are on display to judge and judge u may but all that matters at the end of the day is each other. #wegood.”
Since the time of this fight, these two have clearly managed to make some significant progress in their relationship, so much so that they have even become engaged. While Roger did something here that he shouldn’t have, it’s pretty clear that the two have moved past it. (Roger also hinted online that his new fiancee has also forgiven him for things that are far worse.)
What do you think about Roger’s response to the fight?
