‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 5 spoilers: Is someone making a deal with the devil?

For a town known as Charming, it’s awful interesting how so many characters on “Sons of Anarchy” appear to be completely and totally incapable of actually keeping themselves out of trouble. So when are we going to see the latest example of this? Why, it’s going to be coming during Tuesday night’s new episode!

Just in case you did not think that things could be any worse for either Jax or SAMCRO after losing Opie already this season, the man responsible in part for his demise in some ways in Damon Pope wants to make a deal. While there may be some mutual benefits here short-term, we do have to wonder about the impact of this here several episodes down the road. To make things more interesting, we are also going to be seeing plenty more of Gemma and Nero, even though Jax did warn Jimmy Smits’ character to stay away from her as a part of his own business arrangement with him.

While this season of the FX series has clearly had both its highs and its lows, there is one thing that is pretty impossible to deny at this point: it is a complete and total monster in the ratings. For this past installment, the show managed to score a 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic that once against ranked it higher than any primetime programming in that timeslot, including “Vegas” for CBS, “Parenthood” for NBC, or what may very well be the final season of “Private Practice” on ABC. Hopefully, this tradition will last and continue to show networks that edgy cable content is where it’s at right now when it comes to young viewers.
