Lucifer season 4 spoilers: New photo, discussion about Eve

Lucifer

Lucifer season 4 will be premiering on Netflix at some point in 2019 and there is one new character who could be making an impression more so than any other: Eve. Inbar Lavi is coming board as the Biblical character early on in the season, and based on what we’ve seen via the cast’s social media, she is going to be around for much of what follows. She’s an important character who could end up impacting Lucifer Morningstar’s life in a rather-enormous way. After all, these two characters have quite the history that is going to be explored as season 4 continues.

So where is Lucifer’s head going to be at when Eve first arrives? Speaking on that subject via TVLine (who also supplied the photo below), star Tom Ellis had the following to say:

Lucifer is in a very vulnerable moment, emotionally — not that he would ever recognize that — when out of nowhere, Eve turns up … [she] brings back so much for Lucifer, about the man he used to be — or, the Devil he used to be. She’s never forgotten about him. And she loves him.

Could all of this prove complicated when it comes to Lucifer and Chloe? You have to assume so, especially since we were nearing a point with those two characters where all of the cards were starting to be put on the metaphorical table. Lucifer had just made it clear to Chloe that he was the devil and, beyond just that, she saw his devil face in the finale. While it’s clear that they were going to have many different hurdles to overcome if they wanted to be together, there was a chance — and even with Eve’s arrival, there still could be. We just imagine that things are going to be a little bit more difficult now.

With Eve around, we expect a deeper and darker exploration of Lucifer’s past than before — to go along with that, we do expect Lucifer to still be very much the same show that it’s been. Expect a lot of humor, fun cases, and interesting characters who help to further fill out this world. With the series moving to Netflix solely because of the support of the show’s fans, we expect that a great deal of this season is going to feel very much like a love letter to everyone who came out to support it. We just hope that there’s either a trailer or a premiere-date announcement at some point before too long.
