Hawaii Five-0 season 9: Beulah Koale talks first day of filming

For everyone out there excited for Hawaii Five-0 season 9, there is absolutely quite a bit to be excited about right now. After all, we’re in the midst of filming! Monday marked the first day of filming and judging from a post from Beulah Koale

In the post (which you can see below), Koale opened up about the process of filming the show and how grateful he is to the fans for allowing him the opportunity to come on the show again and make some more great TV. He also shouted out the crew for being some of the best in the business — and we absolutely do think that this is the case. These people put a lot into making this show amazing and, time and time again, they succeed in that. Whether it be some of the action sequences or emotional moments, this is really a series that has something for everyone.

As for what we want for Beulah and his character of Junior Reigns moving forward, we think the show was in the right place with him in the second half of the season. They found a way to get down to the core essence of who this guy really is, someone who went through a lot in the military and is still working to experience life on the other side of it. He’s also had difficult relationships in his past — we absolutely loved the episode where we learned about the history that was there between Junior and his father. We know now that Koale has the potential to pull off these stories and with that, let’s hope for more of them.

Ultimately, Hawaii Five-0 season 9 will premiere on CBS late September, and we imagine that there is going to be a whole lot more news to report on between now and then. Stay tuned, as we’ll have further scoop the moment that it starts to come out!
