The Good Karma Hospital season 2 episode 4 preview: Ruby’s struggle
The Good Karma Hospital season 2 episode 4 synopsis CarterMatt has for you below offers up a little bit more insight as to what is going to be coming up next:
Ruby is still reeling from her discoveries at the tea plantation and must decide if she can forgive past mistakes. Mari goes head to head with Lydia when a surrogate mother gives birth in the hospital.
The Mari / Lydia storyline seems to be a bit more of a one-shot, something that is a conflict that takes place within this episode that doesn’t have any larger reverberations after the fact. We’ll just have to see if that ends up being the case in the episodes that follow this one. Typically, though, the hospital receives an influx of so many patients that you cannot dwell too much on ones that were around previously.
How is The Good Karma Hospital performing in the ratings?
For those who want to see the series stick around for another batch of episodes we do think that there is a very good possibility that this could happen. After all, last week’s episode drew close to around five million viewers and that’s a respectable total for a show like this. What ITV mostly needs to look for here is consistency year-to-year to where it still feels like the show is relevant.
Beyond just the ratings, though, we do also think that The Good Karma Hospital does hold a certain degree of value just in terms of what it brings to the table as far as tone goes. While there are hardships, this is a show that also prioritizes hope. We really need series like this in what is a fairly-rough-and-rocky climate these days.
