Jersey Shore Family Vacation video: Angelina Pivarnick returns
Today, MTV confirmed the shock news of Angelina’s return with a sneak peek featuring her surprising Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and some of the other boys while they are preparing to have a little dinner! Angelina draws a big reaction almost immediately and it should be rather interesting to see what happens as time goes on.
Longtime Jersey Shore fans know that Angelina was one of the original eight cast members for the show, but that she also departed midway through the second season and was eventually replaced with Deena Cortese. She did bring a lot of drama during those first two seasons and is probably an underrated reason for the series’ early success. She also does add a touch of intrigue to the revival in that she’s somewhat an unknown element. She’s fallen off the radar since doing Jersey Shore and it’s hard to say just what her relationship is like now with some of the other cast members. It’s good to have that sort of element introduced into the series at this point, if for no other reason than that you don’t want things to ever get too chummy within the house.
It’s not altogether clear at present if Angelina’s return is going to be a brief stint or something that lasts for a little while; there is an opening within the cast at the moment given that Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola decided that she did not want to be a part of the series. If you add Angelina, that means that you have four women alongside for men and that is more than enough people to sell some of these crazy stories that are going to be going on with the show.
