Chicago Med season 3 episode 13 preview: Dr. Halstead, Dr. Manning at odds

Could there be trouble coming up for Will and Natalie on Chicago Med season 3 episode 13? There could be, but whether the professional conflict stems into their personal life remains to be seen. The story that is coming up is going to be one where the two disagree when it comes to a decision made by a parent, and we understand why. Anytime that you are making a decision about someone in a vegetative state, everyone is going to have strong opinions over it — including doctors. You always want there to be a way in which to find hope … even if there ultimately isn’t any.

The Chicago Med season 3 episode 13 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up some more information as to what is coming up:

03/27/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : When a mother makes a decision regarding care of her vegetative adult son, Dr. Halstead and Dr. Manning find themselves at odds. Dr. Rhodes goes behind Dr. Bekker’s back to figure out a way to get his patient at the top of the transplant list. Dr. Choi is at a loss when a woman in the waiting room falls asleep and won’t wake up. TV-14 L

This episode as a whole is going to prove to be an interesting one just from the vantage point of getting to understand better how these characters are functioning as stress mounts and relationships start to either evolve or spiral. For Will and Natalie, this is the point in their relationship where they would start to challenge each other more. They’ve been together for a little while and with that, they may be at a point where things could unravel if they don’t have a strong foundation. We’ve seen a little bit of tension with the two here and there, including some issues that have turned up courtesy of Will’s struggles to relate to Natalie’s son. This episode could very well be all about the them realizing that they have to leave work at work and find a way to have a happy existence independent of that at home.

As for the story featuring Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Bekker, we imagine that this is only going to continue the complicated road that the two have been on. There are feelings there, but at the same time also some difficulties in that they’re both extremely competitive and want to find a way to rise through the ranks.
