The Bachelorette either Becca Kurfin, Lauren Burnham, suggests Arie Luyendyk Jr.
Speaking to Us Weekly on the subject of who the next Bachelorette would be, Arie Luyendyk Jr. said the following: “I’ll have to hold that opinion for a later date, just because we’re not there yet.” He also said that the choice will relate in some ways to events that happen over the course of the two-night Bachelor finale event.
What does this mean? Unless someone re-enters the competitions signs point towards it being either Becca Kurfin or Lauren Burnham, who are the final two this season. Judging from the recent leaked footage that (spoiler alert!) shows Arie proposing to Becca, it would be easy to make the assumption that Lauren would be the next star of the show. Yet, nothing seems as though it will be that straightforward. We’re getting a five-hour finale event; do you really think that things would be cut-and-dry with a finale of this link? It’s fair to believe that Becca ends up becoming a Bachelorette candidate by the end of all this, mostly because we know very little about Lauren and it doesn’t feel as though she has much of a story to tell in this role, at least for now.

What’s funny is that before all of the talk surrounding chaos with the finale, it felt like Tia Booth was a lock to get the part. Now, it seems more like she’s destined to visit Bachelor in Paradise, the same place that her friend Raven Gates ended up last year. It feels like she alongside Bekah Martinez are locks to appear on that show this summer — there will probably be another three or four women who end up there from this season, at least.
