Bull season 2: Why Cote de Pablo, Sasha Alexander, Diane Neal, other NCIS favorites should appear
What we’ve done in this CarterMatt article is ultimately rather simple: Talk about some NCIS actors, past or present, who would do a great job on Bull. Maybe this will get some wheels in casting turning, or at least we hope so.
Sasha Alexander – It’s been ages since she was Caitlin Todd on NCIS; heck, she’s done an entire series in Rizzoli & Isles in that time that had plenty of critical acclaim behind it. As for why we should bring her over to Bull, the answer for us is this: She can play a lot of tough, smart characters who also have an undercurrent of humor. We could easily see her as either a smart attorney or some sort of high-powered client. We’d love to see her as someone who gets the best of Bull in the courtroom, but still has a playful relationship with him outside of it.
Cote de Pablo – We’ve already written a piece in the past saying how fun it would be to bring Cote on board as almost Moriarty to Bull’s Sherlock Holmes — a rival who challenges him like no other. While we think that Archie Panjabi already played a somewhat-similar role to this earlier this season, there are still probably ways to integrate Cote as a character who frustrates Bull to his core. Maybe she’s a defendant or a plaintiff that he just can’t crack no matter how much he tries to analyze her.

Robert Wagner – He was already DiNozzo Senior on NCIS, so why not find a way to bring him on as a judge who antagonizes Bull or a client who Jason tries to help? Turn the tables a little bit where he is not the father figure anymore.
Diane Neal – We’ve already made it clear that we’re major fans of her Abigail Borin character, which she played on NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans for a handful of episodes. It would be great to have her here in a role that was a little bit darker, such as a client harboring some sort of dark secret.
Sean Murray – The friendship between Tony and McGee was one of the most entertaining parts of NCIS during Weatherly’s run and out of the remaining current cast over there, Sean is the person we’d most like to see on Bull. Wouldn’t he be entertaining as an old childhood friend of Jason’s, someone who went down a completely different path?
