Empire season 4 episode 9 preview: Is Andre in danger?

Empire season 4 episode 9 is going to be the fall finale, and as a result of that the Fox series is going hard. There is going to be some crazy stuff that happens from start to finish here and by the time you get around to the closing credits there’s a good shot that we’re going to be losing a major character for good. This may be the same sort of warning that we get from the writers constantly, but things could be different this time around. We’re in season 4 now and when you look at the show’s recent ratings one thing feels clear: Empire is a show in need of a shakeup. It needs to make some big moves and do a few things to really get tongues wagging again. Putting some beloved characters in jeopardy is a great way to do that.

It’s important for many different reasons to see Cookie and Lucious back on the same page together once again, with the biggest one being that it allows them to run their business the way that they want and to solve problems efficiently. It’s clear at this point that Diana Dubois is a problem that needs to be solved.

As for everything else that is coming the Empire season 4 episode 9 promo below makes it clear that there’s going to be some super-interesting drama ahead when it comes to Jamal. Everything is coming to a head at once and that’s what you want to see whenever you’ve got a pivotal episode airing.
