The Bachelor: Sean Lowe, Catherine Giudici expecting second child
Mrs. Carter: Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici are ready to grow their family!
In a new post on Instagram Giudici confirmed that she and Lowe, (who already have a son named Samuel) are currently expecting their second child together. It’s a cute post featuring both Catherine and Samuel, and while we’re not sure how aware Samuel is of what’s going on yet, hopefully he’ll be excited to be a big brother!
This baby represents yet another chapter in what really has been a storybook ending for the Bachelor couple. It’s easy to be very cynical about this franchise, (especially the Bachelor arm of it) in terms of the actual success stories that come out of it. After all, Sean is the only lead for The Bachelor to marry the woman that he chose at the end of the show. While there have been many Bachelorettes to do so and Jason Mesnick ended up marrying his runner-up, he finds himself in a unique position. This is even more unique when you consider that there aren’t even any other candidates at the moment. Recent Bachelors Ben Higgins and Nick Viall are no longer engaged and current Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. is currently in the process of filming his season of the show.
What makes Sean and Catherine different than some of the others? It starts with the approach Sean took with the show. While we do think there are men who take the responsibility of being the lead seriously, some likely view it as a chance for fame with finding love an extra bonus of that. Sean wanted the attention — every person on the show does — but he still prioritized love and finding the right person first. He also seemed to choose someone who really did allow herself to give into the process. He went by his feelings, choosing someone despite her living in a very different part of the country and having a very different background from his own. While Dancing with the Stars was a test of their relationship, they pushed through together.
While the true work for any Bachelor relationship is what happens after the show, the choices that you make during the show set you up to get you to that point.
