The Last Post episode 5 preview: Alison’s struggle and more
Beyond that, we’re also going to see some of these characters reach their breaking point, not that this is much of a surprise when you consider some of the unusual circumstances that they’re in. They’re in Yemen, away from many of their friends and family. Not only that, but they have to figure out a way to handle contentious situations and conflicts that they are not used to. They may be more accustomed to their surroundings than in the past, but does that really mean that the likes of Joe, Ed, and other characters are really used to being there? Hardly. This show’s featured good performances from Jessica Raine and others, but there are still some more great moments to come as we get into the final two episodes of this season — and maybe more. It’s a little too early to chart the future beyond this one way or another.
If you look below now, you can get a few more details on The Last Post episode 5 and what’s going to be coming up moving forward.
The NLF demand a swap. Alison watches over Ed, conflicted about their marriage. Honor confronts Martha. Yusra gets a coded message to Armstrong. Joe disobeys orders.
Sure, the BBC isn’t giving up too much more in the way of information about this episode right now, but that shouldn’t be all that much of a shock when you think for a moment about where we are at the moment. This is a time in the season where there are many things that need to be kept secret since we’re close to the end — obviously, there are certainly limitations that the show still has thanks mostly to the fact that they’re in a past time period and there are only so many things that can happen to the British as a result of that. Nonetheless, we do like to think that there is some flexibility in here.
