The Bachelorette spoilers: Rachel Lindsay’s family meets her final three

Bachelorette spoilers

Tonight, Rachel Lindsay made a difficult choice on The Bachelorette: She sent home Dean Unglert, and kept Eric Bigger, Bryan Abasolo, and Peter Kraus as her final three. Dean had a difficult hometown date that showed off tensions with his father, and there may have been a part of him that realized what was going to happen before it did (even if he didn’t realize it in his limousine confession after the fact).

Now, we move on to the next episode and overnight dates. All of the guys remaining are ones that Rachel cares about, but we do think Eric is the one who’s got to play catch-up based on the edit that we’ve seen so far.

The promo for next week’s new episode showcased the three remaining guys heading to Spain with Rachel, and while there, apparently, she is going to introduce her remaining guys to her family. This is happening a little bit earlier than it has in the past, where it typically happens in the final two. Personally, we don’t mind that given that there tends to be a ton of filler late in the season, and we’d rather get to some of the meatier stuff now than have to suffer through a traditionally dreary overnight date episode where almost nothing happens.

In the promo, one of the most interesting things that we had a chance to see was some awkward tension between Bryan and her family, almost as though he didn’t love their line of questioning and decided to walk away at one point. Remember that this could just be creative editing, but it’s something still worth pointing out at the moment. Beyond that, you also see Peter tell her family that he’s not quite at the level yet where he is ready to propose, which is either setting things up for an epic proposal when he does or a great narrative for The Bachelor.

Following this episode, she’ll probably send one of the guys home and then go to the final with two — but The Men Tell All will likely air in between. Then, there will be an After the Final Rose special and then Bachelor in Paradise following that. At this point, The Bachelor is basically a year-long institution, given that the new season of that show will film this fall, and you’ve also got Bachelor Winter Games coming up in the new year — though nobody really has an indication as of yet as to what that show will be about or entail.
