Arrow season 6 spoilers: There are fates other than death

Assumptions are never a great thing to make, and the same can be said for those who want to assume going into Arrow season 6 that everyone will be okay. While we do think that the majority of the people involved in the terrible explosion on Liam Yu are going to survive what transpired with them, this is far from a guarantee that they are going to emerge through the rubble in one piece. There could be physical or emotional scares that come as a result of what happened, and you have to remember that there were some villains out there to go along with some heroes.

Basically, the people that you have to think about more now include everyone from John Diggle to Black Siren. anyone and everyone could be impacted.

If you do want to look a little bit further at some of what could be coming up for some of these characters, just take a look at what executive producer Marc Guggenheim had to say (per Entertainment Weekly) on the subject of the craziness to come:

“A lot of the discussion that we’ve had and a lot of the discussion we’ve seen online is very binary — people either live or they’ll die … There are other consequences that can come out of what happened at the end of [episode] 523. While everyone is focused on one thing, you know us on Arrow, we may be doing something else.”

Whatever the writers are doing, they’ve done an excellent job of keeping it under wraps. The only thing that has been confirmed so far is that Rick Gonzalez and Juliana Harkavy are going to be series regulars alongside Katie Cassidy. They’ve been fairly hush-hush about everything else, including who the Big Bad will be and if there will be some other component to the story that arrives and effectively replaces the flashbacks. (Can you imagine what would happen if they were to suddenly include flash-forwards? The show really would start to become more like Lost than ever before.)

Oh, and it’s also confirmed that Arrow season 6 is going to be premiering on The CW this October, not that this was all that hard a thing to predict given that this is when the show’s started back every season until now.
