Bachelor in Paradise 4: DeMario Jackson makes first comment on incident
So what does DeMario have to say about the aftermath of the incident now? It certainly seems as though he feels he did nothing wrong, and is trying to wait out the drama until the investigation on ABC’s part is cleared. He was caught by Entertainment Tonight in the Los Angeles area, and had the following message to pass along:
“I have nothing to say. You know, Corinne’s an awesome girl and that’s all I have to say … [To the fans], love you all, thank you for the support.”
DeMario named Corinne Olympios, as she is the other person involved in the incident that was captured by cameras and led to a producer quitting the show and filing a suit for misconduct. There are still too many reports of “he said, she said” out there to get too much into what actually happened. For now, the situation merits being taken serious just because it is a serious situation. Since we don’t know what happens, it’s best to not trivialize it in the event that the truth is a very bad thing.
Regardless of whether there were any criminal acts committed in the incident or not, it does feel as though Bachelor in Paradise 4 is dead and buried for the summer. It’s also possible that this arm of the series is dead completely and production will come up with something else, provided that the investigation regulars are not overtly damaging. Once it is over, then we can start to look at what the future of the show is. There is a season of The Bachelorette currently still airing featuring Rachel Lindsay as a lead, and for now there doesn’t appear to be any plan to change anything up in regards to it airing.
