The Bachelorette spoilers: Raven Gates, Corinne Olympios return (again)

Corinne

Even though the likes of Raven Gates, Corinne Olympios,  Jasmine Goode, and Alexis Waters are not the star of The Bachelorettethey’re still involved! Earlier this season, the women helped Rachel Lindsay with a pep-talk leading up to the start of the season, and they are all now getting set to help again for a group date to air on Monday night’s new episode.

Are these four going to be much of a source of advice? Hard to say. Mostly, think of this as more of a preview for Bachelor in Paradise since all four of these women are obviously going to be a part of that show in some shape or form. This is ABC just getting themselves ready to get more ratings. At least they all do seem to be friendly with Rachel, and based on the synopsis below, they’ll be helping to “organize” one of the weirdest dates of the entire season:

“On the final date of the week, Rachel is surprised by four of her closest girlfriends from Nick’s season: Alexis, Corinne, Jasmine and Raven, who have set up a mud wrestling competition with some of the bachelors at the Cowboy Palace. A raucous crowd roots them on, and the men are impressive with a surprise winner taking home the champion’s belt. Rachel’s gal pals express their concerns about one man, but will the Bachelorette take their comments to heart?  She decides to have a frank conversation with this bachelor to assess whether the two can have a future together.”

Basically, this can be chalked up mostly to be an excuse to get some of the guys in a mud wrestling ring together without shirts on. It’s pure testosterone, and it’s incredibly ridiculous. Can you imagine what would happen if they had women on The Bachelor mud wrestle in bathing suits? Granted, it’s not like this is THAT far off from what the show has done over the years.

Maybe this will be fun, and a welcome respite from a show that is being dragged down a giant DeMario hole at the moment thanks to his past girlfriend showing up on a date … and then him turning back up at the site of a group date since he obviously cannot handle the fact that he was called out like he was.

What do you think about the idea of this group date? Share in the comments below right now!
