Stitchers season 3 episode 1 spoilers: Will Kristen, Cameron have a future?

Stitchers season 3 episode 1

Ready to get some further insight into Stitchers season 3 episode 1? Ahead, we’ve got some further details from the premiere, which is going to be coming on the air one week from Monday night on June 5!

Before getting into some of what is coming, it feels right to reflect on where we are, and that is with Kristen in a sort of stasis. Kristen is trapped within her own memory, and this leaves Cameron to do everything that he can (with a little bit of help, of course) to find a way to bring her back. This show managed to do what is so effective when it comes to many romantic story arcs out there — get you close to getting what you want (in this case a full Kristen – Cameron relationship) only to then see that ripped away and stomped on.

Another key question now is the status of Kristen’s mother. Her being trapped is due in part to her own desire to want to stay closer to her. However, there is a possibility that she could be out there alive in the present!

Given that this show is more procedural than many of the others on the Freeform schedule, it’s harder to project the time in which answers will be coming your way. For the time being, the one thing that is clear is that over the course of the premiere episode entitled “Out of the Shadows,” the entire team faces an uncertain future … at least for the first part of the episode. By the end of it, it feels more fair to say that things could start to heat up a little bit. Read on for some further details:

“As the Stitchers team prepares to be reassigned for breaking protocol, NSA Director Mitchell Blair surprises everyone by demanding an emergency stitch that yields shocking new information.”

Consider this story a jumping-off point for the remainder of the season, and also consider this story one that is going to inevitably carry over to subsequent weeks, even if it’s just briefly mentioned at the start or finish of the episode. The Stitchers team isn’t really going to be broken up, right? If they were, it’d be an incredibly short season since there wouldn’t be anything else to discuss in the way of subject matter.
