Scandal season 6 episode 14 spoilers: Fitz’s final days in office
For us personally, the latter storyline is far superior than the former, especially since Scandal went into complete overkill mode a long time ago with the story of secret governments / organizations. We would’ve preferred that OPA continued to be OPA and the show actually got a little bit more procedural. Some of the best episodes for the show occurred back when it was a little more structured and a little less crazy … and the idea of B613 was a little more temporary. Who knows? Maybe we’re just finding ourselves starting to get a little bit nostalgic at the same time as President Fitz is. There were better days, and you have to find a way to recreate that feeling … even though it’s pretty darn clear that you can’t go home again and make things as they once were.
Now, let’s hand down a little more news regarding what could be coming up next.
Scandal season 6 episode 14 synopsis – “While outgoing President Fitz considers his legacy, the Gladiators question what’s next for OPA, and Jake finally discovers the motivation behind Peus’s and the Mystery Woman’s reign of terror.”
One way or another, what happens on the show this week will lead into the big finale, one where Mellie Grant prepares to be sworn in as President. Will that happen? Given what we’ve seen already with Vargas, we’re not willing to rule out anything in terms of what the show will and will not do.
