Arrow season 5 trailer for final episodes coming later this week
In a post on Twitter, executive producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed this news, saying that a trailer for the final five episodes is on its way. What we see in this said trailer remains to be seen, but we anticipate more showdowns with Prometheus, a chance to see the return of Talia, and hopefully a little bit of Katrina Law as Nyssa. Given that Manu Bennett is only around for the finale and that episode is still filming, we’d be shocked if they turn around any footage of Deathstroke before then. We’re not even sure if all of the footage of the villain in the episode will be with Manu in the costume.
The one thing that we do want to do here is give Guggenheim a little bit of a round of applause, given that he’s done a great job this year of reinvigorating two different shows in Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow as a co-showrunner. Not only that, but he’s done so despite having to contend with what is at times a pretty divisive and challenge following. It’s very hard to please everyone within the Arrow community, but we do feel like he’s done as good of a job as possible. Arrow season 5 is at the moment the second-best season behind only season 2, and there’s a chance for it to still top it depending on how the show ties things together over the final episodes. You’ve got a great villain, and to go along with that now, there are some opportunities to potentially tie together a story that’s been going ever since the first season of the show.
As for whether or not there will be a cliffhanger for Arrow season 6, it’s probably a little bit early to say. The one thing we do advise you to do right now is head over here to check out our finale forecast piece! That should give you a good sense as to how we’d like to see Arrow season 5 end.
