Bates Motel season 5 episode 10 (series finale): Freddie Highmore’s farewell
Viewers around the world, get ready — Bates Motel season 5 episode 10 is going to mark the end of an era, and the series finale on A&E. Freddie Highmore and the rest of the cast will have a final bow, and then the series will drift off into the memories of its viewers. Hopefully, its legacy will remain as one of the greatest shows of the past several years. It’s well-acted, well-written, and incredibly creepy. There are not exactly many other shows out there within the television medium quite like it.
Given that this is the Bates Motel series finale that we are writing about here, don’t be all that shocked that the network is not revealing many details ahead of times. Obviously, they want to keep their story under wraps, and preserve every finer detail for as long as they can.
As a matter of fact, here is the synopsis for the finale: “Norman Bates comes home.” Seriously. That’s all that the show is giving you. It’s probably for the best, but it still feels rather strange to write a preview for the finale that only offers up that much.
With that in mind, be sure to check back to this article following the finale for more, including promo analysis and further story context. No matter what happens, we imagine that this is going to be an emotional send-off to the series.
