Scandal season 6 episode 10 promo: 100th episode; Olivia’s sliding doors

Scandal season 6 episode 10 is going to be airing on ABC next week, and this is more than just your ordinary episode of the show — this is the landmark 100th installment of the show! This should mark a great opportunity to commemorate the entire story of the series so far … and play a little bit of the old what-if game at the same time. Much like Arrow did for its 100th episode and like Grey’s Anatomy did for its episode “If/Then,” we’re going to see the show dive into the same territory here. Olivia Pope will start to look over how different her life could have been, and also where it actually is:

Scandal season 6 episode 10 synopsis – “With the ugly truth behind Frankie’s assassination revealed, a torn Olivia wonders how different her life – and the country – would be if she, Mellie and Cyrus had never rigged Fitz’s election.”

This episode probably is not going to do a whole lot for you when it comes to furthering along the same story, we’re still excited about it just because it’s bringing something to the table that we have not seen within this world just yet. We imagine that for Kerry Washington in particular, this should be a chance to offer up a great performance that is rather fun for her to play at the same time. After spending so many years playing one version of Olivia Pope, isn’t there something fun that could come with taking on another? We do like to think so.

As for the rest of the cast, part of the surprise could come courtesy of seeing where they all end up, and how they are finding a way to contribute to the medical world.

Promo – You get a number of wonderful little flashes of what could be coming up in this preview, but there is absolutely one that stands out above all of the others — are we going to see Olivia getting married? The wedding dress suggests so. The big mysteries here, of course, is the identity of the groom…
