Following the events of “Disbanded,” the show is going to be taking a little bit of a breather much in the way that we’re going to be seeing with both Supergirl and also The Flash. The next new episode is coming on Wednesday, April 26, and the title for it is “Dangerous Liaisons.” That may be a long time to wait until we get new installments of the show, but we suppose if there is a silver lining here, it’s that this episode will probably be the one that accelerates into the final four of the season, and the sort of crazy, hyper-intense showdown that we tend to get at the end of every season. Let’s hope that this time around, it’s not going to just be some sort of crisis where the villain’s trying to destroy the city. Been there, done that.

There are of course rumors regarding some of the upcoming episodes. The internet’s convinced that 5×20, for example, is going to be a huge Oliver / Felicity episode, though we don’t have anything to actually confirm that. What we know is the the penultimate hour of the season is entitled “Missing,” and that we’re going to be seeing Oliver return to the island in the flashback timeline. Everything we get there will set up his return in what was then Starling City in the pilot. We’re going to be going full-circle, and there should be a rather exciting feeling that goes along with it as we head into season 6. The response to this season’s been positive (especially as of late), so we anticipate seeing more of this dark, grounded direction than anything involving frequent superpowers or crossovers with other parts of the universe.

Promo – Based on what we’re seeing below, odds are that this episode will be the one where Felicity feels some aftereffects of her collaboration with Helix.
