Scandal season 6 episode 8 promo: Abby’s secret — and her story

Do you still have a desire to see the story of the election on Scandal told from a wide array of different perspectives? Going into Scandal season 6 episode 8 airing on ABC next week, this is clearly something that Shonda Rhimes and the producers are hoping is the case. After all, we’re going to get a chance to flash back to that time, and to see it told from a completely different perspective. Expect Scandal season 6 episode 8 to be a huge installment for Darby Stanchfield and her character of Abby, as we start to understand more of what happened with her on that fateful night.

Perhaps more importantly than anything else, there may be some key details of what happened that have been previously omitted from some other stories. As for why that is, let’s just say that it has a thing or two to do with the fact that she’s the only person who may know them. Look below for further insight!

Scandal season 6 episode 8 synopsis – “The events leading up to election night are retold from Abby’s perspective, revealing a formidable thirst for power and the explosive secret she’s been keeping.”

Maybe with certain characters, doing a flashback to an event we’ve seen play out many times before wouldn’t be anywhere near as exciting. It’s a little bit different when we’re discussing someone in Abby who is incredibly magnetic, and does have a tendency to bring some great insight to any discussion. Plus, her journey to becoming a Washington power player is one of the more fascinating things about the story right now. We do want to see more and more in terms of how her future is going to evolve.

Promo – Did Abby take the money? Is she a traitor? At the end of tonight’s episode, it looked like she paid Meg for the death of Huck and also Jennifer, and we now have to understand why. Maybe she determined that money meant more to her than anything.

Just like tonight’s story was a big showcase for Guillermo Diaz, we expect the same thing moving forward into next week for Stanchfield. Let’s hope that somehow, this episode matches the power and insanity of tonight.
