The Bachelor finale spoilers: Will Nick Viall’s mom influence proposal decision?

Will there be a proposal on The Bachelor finale Monday night? You have to assume so, mostly because this is a show where, by and large, these sort of things happen. They’re commonplace, and you effectively just have to prepare for them. The bigger question is whether or not Nick Viall’s mom could somehow influence his proposal decision, and you see some of that in the sneak peek below.

She tries to make a case to him about some of what she sees in Raven Gates in particular, as this conversation happens following the time that the two parties spend together. Raven seems to have made a good impression, and she’s someone that Nick’s family could see him with. Yet, at the same time we know that Vanessa Grimaldi connects well with Nick’s father based on another preview that we have, and we foresee a situation where they would happen with whoever he decides to pick at the end of the day.

Tonight, the good news is that one way or another, Nick Viall’s mom, dad, and everyone else in the family will be able to get out from under the enormous secret. The truth will finally be out there! There is no more secrecy, and everyone can simply enjoy the opportunity to spend time together in a public setting. The After the Final Rose special will give us our first real sense as to why Nick made some of the choices that he did, and what is going to be coming up next for them. He’s got a spot on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars, and it absolutely does feel like this is going to take up some of the lion’s share of his time. We feel for whoever he picks at that point, given that she’s not going to get a whole lot of time to spend with him while he is immersed within the Dancing with the Stars experience for much of the next several months. The rehearsals for the show are grueling; this is something that we’ve heard Sean Lowe say in the past, and you never quite know how much work it’s going to be until you start to actually dive in and become immersed in the process.
