Oliver proposes to Connor on ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 3 finale; should he say yes?

Mrs. Carter: Given how Oliver proposes to Connor in the “How to Get Away with Murder” season 3 finale, shouldn’t we feel excited right now?

Well, “excited” is a relative term. The reality here is that this was a pretty bleak episode we encountered on Thursday night, as most of them are. We learned that Laurel’s father was responsible for the death of Wes, and that was one of many harsh revelations that fell over the course of the hour.

Still, you do have to do wonder, could there be hope for these two? Could this proposal turn into something more, such as a wedding during the fourth season? There are plenty of reasons to have hope, and we wanted to present some of them your way within this article.

They’ve been through a lot already

When you think about “for better or worse,” these are two guys who have experienced “worse” more often than they can count. They’ve been apart, they’ve witnessed death, and felt like the entire world was crashing down around them. Through it all, though, they found a way to be there for each other.

This would add to the show’s dynamics

Sure, the show has its fair share of hookups. Some of them are entertaining, and others are a little bit depressing. Regardless of where the needle falls for you, you can still be thoroughly intrigued by the idea of having a committed relationship on this show, one with the intent of lasting.

Are you really gonna pass on a wedding episode?

Just think for a minute about how crazy that would be as devised by Pete Nowalk and the writers. These are people who are going to go big and hold basically NOTHING back in their pursuit of bringing the drama.
