‘The Flash’ season 3, episode 10 trailer brings all the Barry – Iris emotions

Barry -Why do we watch a show like “The Flash“? It begins and ends with the story. Barry Allen is a one-in-a-million sort of hero. He remains enthusiastic despite some pretty terrible stuff happening to him, and he continues to show time and time again why he is a hero that Central City can back and respect.

Unfortunately, and as he very well knows at this point in time, being a hero does have significant drawbacks. It can be isolating, you are forced to hide who you are, and it makes everyone close to you a target. This is what’s transpired when it comes to the relationship between him and Iris West. There are few people in his life more valuable than her, there was a sense of destiny about them, and they’re finally at a point now when they can actually live under the same roof. It will feel more like an adult relationship than anything that we’ve had a chance to see so far, given that it’s hard to be overly romantic when you are living with Joe and have to look around every corner for him. It’s a shame that Savitar could be making this arrangement short-lived by killing Iris in the future.

In the extended trailer below for “Borrowing Problems from the Future” (the show’s only a week away from returning!), you get a further sense of precisely everything that Barry is going to be doing in order to change history, and that includes everything from working with Cisco to using Wally to help “prove that they can alter the future” — it’s rough that Wally’s not going to get a lot of time to train in order to be the best Kid Flash possible, but at the same time, you also do have to remember that this is probably not something that he really wants to do, anyway. This is a character who’s shown time and time again a knack for eagerness out in the field. He’s not so interested in holding anything back or slowing down.

If you love Barry and Iris, prepare for an avalanche of emotions while watching this.

One other cause for concern – Is it impossible for Caitlin to control the frosty side of her personality? The team’s tried to contain it, but the fear is still clearly present, and you do have to worry that eventually, a time will come where it is too much, and there is no clear way to keep this transformation from becoming permanent.
