‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 4, episode 10 preview: A team under attack
On Tuesday night’s new episode of “Agents of SHIELD” entitled “The Patriot,” there will be chances to showcase Jeffrey Mace the hero. Unfortunately, at the same time you will also see several different examples of Jeffrey Mace the target. This is a man with a past that is still unknown to many, and also a man who is a public figure. When you think about it, there are a wide array of different people who you could presume would be interested in taking a man like this down a notch or two.
Unfortunately, the sneak peek below does not do much in the way of offering up cohesive answers, though it does at the same time give you a little bit more of a sense as to how much trouble Mace, Coulson, and Mack are all in. Before before this preview died one person had already been lost, another important member of the SHIELD team finds themselves gone in a rather unfortunate way by the end of the video.
Who is behind all of this? It is something that Mace himself speculates on, and with that, it feels fair that we have the capacity to do the same thing. The most obvious person to name in this instance is Senator Nadeer, just because of her history with Inhumans and the tenuous relationship she has with various members of the team. Would she be willing to make a move that is so public and so terrible? That is why you could check her off of the list of suspects, though we’re also not entirely sure that this is enough.
Another important name to of course consider in this instance is Radcliffe, given his work in reconfiguring LMDs and his hope of obtaining the Darkhold. The bad news is that SHIELD is not exactly privy to the same information that we have. We do hope that they figure it out, given that he could be a significant force to be reckoned with — plus, by the time they find out what he’s really up to, he could be even more dangerous than he is now. It’s what happens when you don’t come down hard enough on a seemingly-deluded man and his big dreams to keep the robot revolution alive.
