‘Arrow’ season 5 spoilers: More on Talia al Ghul, Tina Boland’s debut
Where in the world is Prometheus going to be in the second half of “Arrow” season 5? It’s certainly a fascinating question in the aftermath of all of the craziness that we had a chance to witness in the winter finale for the series, but at the same time, it’s not a question that The CW is keen on answering in some of the most-recent intel that they’ve put out there online.
Take, for example, what we’ve heard about the February 1 installment “Second Chances,” which is going to be the second one to air in 2017. The name Prometheus is not mentioned at all in the information we’ve seen, but there are a few other things that you should know about:
Talia al Ghul’s turning up – She’s going to specifically surface in the flashback stories set in Russia, and she may have an offer to lend Oliver a helping hand. Unfortunately, in the process she may want something from him, and that may not be something he can fulfill. Will this relationship be destroyed before it really gets going, and will we get to meet her in the present? Both are rather good questions for the time being.
Felicity’s rescue mission – You gotta love the resourcefulness! She will be doing her best to put some of her hacking skills to use in order to infiltrate the NSA and get the information necessary to bust John Diggle out of prison. Here’s the issue: She’s going to get found out by someone who possesses an exemplary level of skill to her. This is needed for Felicity — just as Oliver runs into people who are either equal or stronger than him as fighters, Felicity needs more than just a rival or two who have an equal level of knowledge. The question in this episode will be determining this adversary’s identity.
Curtis Holt’s discovery – There’s going to be a new female vigilante introduced in this episode in Tina Boland (Juliana Harkavay), who will already have quite the reputation by the time she turns up here. Here’s the odd thing about this character — when she was first announced, the description was that she was going to be a detective. Which one is it … or is it both?
Obviously, there’s a lot to look forward to as we move along further into “Arrow” this season — let us know what you want to see in the second half of the season below! Meanwhile, head over here to get some further news now when it comes to the show. (Photo: The CW.)
