Could ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ alums Haley, Emily Ferguson get their own Freeform spin-off?
Is Freeform going to become the home of a whole host of “Bachelor“-related spin-off shows? We’re starting to wonder that, given that they already had “Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?” earlier this year, and now there are rumors coming out that Emily and Haley Ferguson from “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise” could have something similar coming up.
Per Us Weekly, the two twins could potentially have their own spin-off that revolves for the most part around their lives in Las Vegas, where the two parties live and spend most of their time. We understand on the surface the appeal of this, given that twins are still mildly unique and Freeform is probably going to want to have a fun, silly reality show to fill up their schedule. However, at the same time can lightning really strike twice for the network? We know that expectations are not huge for some of these spin-off shows, but you have to think that by the time something like this airs, there will be a new season out there and therefore a whole new crop of contestants. All of a sudden, these people are not going to be at the front of the mind in the same way that they once were.
We’ll ultimately wait and see if this project comes to fruition, but the twins did appear already on “Ben and Lauren” alongside many other former stars of the show. That is one of the appeals of doing these sort of programs, since you can put as many different alumni on the screen as possible and you hope that people watch.
While we do await some sort of potential news on this show, know that the new season of “The Bachelor” featuring Nick Viall, who the twins also know thanks to “Bachelor in Paradise,” is going to be launching in early January.
