‘The Bachelor’ Fantasy League launched for Nick Viall’s season; good idea?
For those of you who love watching “The Bachelor,” at least in its purest, most-unspoiled form, there is another way in which you can take part in the season starting early next month: By taking part in what is an official fantasy league.
As you can see over at the link here, ESPN and ABC are teaming up for a new league environment that allows fans of the show to make their picks on Nick Viall’s final four, the recipient of the final rose, and a wide array of other things over the course of the season. From here, there are a number of other prizes that are going to be given out, with one of the biggest ones being the chance to attend an “After the Final Rose” taping.
If you consider yourself to be a superfan of everything related to the show, this is going to be right up your alley, and this does show further that the network is really forward-thinking when it comes to some of the wide array of different ways in which it is trying to promote this series for everyone out there to be involved.
As we alluded to a little bit earlier in this article, however, there is a little bit of an obvious problem here in the form of spoilers that are already out there for the season. Can you really do a fantasy league when clearly there are people who are going to just look things up and cheat? You have to find a way to do this in good faith, and that’s not an easy thing to do. Personally, we don’t know any of the spoilers and we’re also not personally trying to facilitate any of the discussions going on out there when it comes to this topic, but we’re also not going to be so ridiculous as to go out there and pretend like people aren’t seeking out this sort of information. The good news is that we think the number of people reading spoilers is blown out of proportion somewhat by the internet, and the majority of the people watching have no idea what is going to be coming up next.
