‘The X Factor’ UK final spoilers: What Saara Aalto, Matt Terry will sing (again); who will win?

The final for “The X Factor” this season is airing in a mere matter of hours, and we are here to give you a little bit of insight on one thing in particular: What the final two are going to sing for us! There is an original song coming courtesy of Ed Sheeran, but there are few details that were put out there in advance about that so we are going to shift our focus of this article.

Instead, let’s go through the final choices — and whether or not they they have made good choices for their final songs.

Matt Terry, “Writing on the Wall” – The James Bond theme is one that Matt first performed back during Movie Week, and in turn he earned a tremendous amount of praise for. Therefore, there is little reason to think that there will be anything different this time around.

Saara Aalto, “It’s Oh So Quiet” – The Bjork cover is probably the one that first established Saara as a serious contender after several weeks in danger during the early going — while you can argue that her version of “The Winner Takes It All” is probably the best performance of the entire season, this may be the one that got her to a point where she could even perform that.

Ultimately, it’ll be about so much more than reprisals as we end up seeing who ends up taking home the title. Viewers are thinking cumulatively now, and we imagine it’ll be a close race. Our feeling is that Matt may have the inside track, but crazier things have happened on this show and Saara was the favorite to take it home going into the weekend.
